JK, but no, there should be some common enemy, not necessarily a dictatorship that the crew have to fight to save the galaxy, but yes, I believe we could have a "neutral" government, as in one that isn't autocratic, but one that has its fair share of stupid policies that cause discontent. Since Shifters char (the captain) does not appear to want to continue a military career (affiliated with the government/law etc) nor does he want to stick along the pirate route, I think its safe to say the crew inhabits a neutral mmiddleground, perhaps taking on jobs from both sides, legal and shady deals. If events in the RP begin to shift the crew from a neutral position to one either end of the spectrum (paragon or renegade haha) then we'll adjust appropriately IC :) 

I hope everyones cool with that, unless someone wants to suggest some kind of corrupt agency etc I'll gladly hear it. I don't want to lay down the law too much here, if the group would rather take things in some other direction please don't hesitate to speak up.

I'll make a female character, if anyone wants to double a female char, do comment. Im waiting on Nariata to post a CS for another merc character, perhaps if Diabolic sticks with the merc route as opposed to hacker, the two mercs could have a bit of a backstory together. Having two mercs on board means maybe we should include some kind of threatlike you suggest Fuzzy.
