Zayden stared off into the distance contemplating his life. What am I going to do he thought as he stood at the pinnacle of his fathers mansion looking out over the vast expanse of the city. He had always been treated like royalty in this city but it was not of his own merit that he was treated this way. This was because of his father. Zayden always looked for ways to eek out his own existence and name, in this city and while not easy He managed to start a few small businesses.

Although not really well known yet Zayden knew what had to be done he had to leave home. it was the only way he would be able to find out his own worth. unsure of what to do Zayden took of to the skies Midnight flights always helped to put his mind at ease Yea this was good he thought to himself.

Isaura was returning from her mission. She didn’t mind the Master of the house so much. Being that he was one of the Ancients, he sat on ruling council of vampires and thus spent much of his time away from the house. However even when he was around, he wasn’t terrible bad to be around, except during feeding time. Feeding time was always difficult on her, however not unbearable. His wife was the one that made things hard. It was because of the Mistress of the house that many of the servants were growing increasingly more restless. Not that Isaura could particularly blame them. Isaura herself took care to stay clear of the wicked women as much as she could. While being blind had it’s difficulties, like most inanimate objects coming appearing to her as though it were a sketch where only the outline could be seen but not the details or even the color, but she was blessed with the ability to both see and feel auras which came in handy, especially considering she back at the house, where she planned on avoiding the Mistress at all costs.
She shivered as she drew closer to the house. The aura of the house was overpowering and nearly crippled her as it came into her view. She tried to move closer to the house, but whatever devastation that was occurring within those castle walls would have to go on without her. Staying in the shadows unsure of what to do, she contemplated her options. With an annoyed sigh, she figured, maybe she would come back later when things were quiet, but for now, she supposed, she’d explore.

Nothing like a good flight to clear the head, Zayden thought to himself landing atop a skyscraper and looking out over the city. Maybe he could get a place of his own and work from the ground up although his dad was tough and quite intimidating he did have a soft spot for Hard work maybe he could look into getting a loan from his dad...Better yet maybe he could become a bounty hunter and catch criminals. He shook his head free of the randomness of the thought, or rather tried. Zayden would loose an exasperated sigh "Good job Z just when you thought you cleared your head here come these random thoughts" he chuckled to himself before heading home for the evening.

"Where have you been Zayden?" His father would ask with minute concern partially because he knew what his son was capable of even if he didn't.

"Night flight sir, just needed to clear my head" He spoke clearly and precisely in the presence of his towering father

"I see just like your mother" he said his tone lifting a bit. as it always did when Zayden mother was bought up.

"Dad as you know I've started a few businesses here and there in the city but I don't think its my calling, I've been having rampant thoughts of becoming a...Bounty hunter but i don't know why..." -Zayden is cut off-

"Your mother she was a legendary bounty hunter but she was also well...she was known all throughout our world as Longinus but that's a story for another time if this is truly what you wish you have my blessing, but know this if you embark on this journey I will not accept failure and your going to wanna start on this side you wont be ready for criminals at home...just yet" He spoke with what could almost be mistaken for pride in his son.

That morning Zayden headed out to the Law enforcement station to begin his new Profession.

Isaura wasn’t sure where she was going. She had been wandering and stealing the life force of various plants and vegetative life as she made her way through the woods, one of the perks of serving as a walking blood bag for so long is that earned the ability to absorb the life-sustaining force of other living things with a touch and a bit of concentration. She knew she would be approaching the city soon and hated the idea that she would be surrounded by so many people. She supposed that so long as there was no major skew in the emotions of the vast wave of beings that occupied the city than she would be okay. She hoped, at least.
She tilted her head as she listened for running water to wash her clothes. She estimated that she was about an hour’s walk away from the city. She knew she had no funds to call her own as it were so if she expected to once again get in contact with the Master, she would have to bide her time and made it through the obstacles that faced her in the city.
Grumbling she walked toward the sound of water. She relaxed her own body and searched for the auras of others might do her harm before disrobing and dipping each article of clothing several times individually, checking for areas of stubborn grime, before moving on to the next. She hung her clothes on some of the various branches that would receive maximum sunlight to aid in the drying before she herself wafted through the waters to rid herself of sweat and dirt. Once feeling sufficiently clean, she removed herself from the waters and found a suitable place to rest and recuperate from the day’s troubling events.

Zayden Would head into the station And straight over to the bounty wall. But it dawned on Zayden that he had no Idea as to what it took to become a bounty hunter. He would ask for some advice from what appeared to be a half-Dragon bounty hunter and after a short exchange of words Zayden felt a bit more confident and was given a small book to take down some info of the marks and where they could be found and how much they were worth.

What luck Zayden thought as he perused the wall and found that there were a few lower ranked bounties worth a decent amount of dough right on the outskirts of the city. with info in book and a set mind he made for home to acquire his long sword. After Acquisition of his blade he made off to the area that was marked in his book.

taking to the skies gave Zayden a better view and behold he came across the area that the book spoke off "in a grove shaped like an eagle" he landed on a tree and waited for an op to present himself before swooping in and making the arrest or kill or capture "Zayden was clueless on that fact" but knew he was about to earn money that was his, something he had never done.

She sensed their auras before she heard them. She pulled her clothes from her the branches and slid them, glad that they were dry. She made sure her weapons were in the right place before standing and jumping into the branches of the trees. She felt her lips quirk as she blended into the shadows of the trees. She listened to them and tried to envision what they were doing and how they were doing. Minutes later she could hear the sound of a handful of dog barking as they moved closer to her. She sent out calming pulses of aura to the dog knowing the less sophisticated animals would receive the message and turn in the other direction. When the dogs did just that, Isaura waited on baited breath for the auras to move far enough away for her to safely reveal herself. She gathered the remainder of her hidden weapons and sheathed them before making her way towards the town.
She was about a mile away from the outskirts of town when she could feel the effects of various auras working on her. For a moment, she felt light headed before she, with steadfast resolve, steadied her own nerves and fears of the unknown and ventured closer. She allowed her aura to weave through the cluster that existed and travelled towards one of the less populated areas, glad to feel that the area she travelled to had fewer people because it was rural instead of being because it was a gated community.
She found herself walking towards the smell of food because despite being able to live off the energy of other life-sustaining things, she still needed substance to keep her healthy otherwise she would grow weak. She walked into the town and could feel the weight of the town’s people’s gazes on her. She walked into the diner and used the Master’s card to order a plate of grainy, high starch, high fiber food. Already feeling stronger left the diner to find a clothing store so she would not have to constantly wash and re-wear the same pair of clothes every day. Feeling as though that was enough excitement for one day, she made her way back to the woods where she would find a cave to make her own, until a time she was summoned and could return to the comfort of the place she considered home.

Zayden looked on catching a glimpse of what he thought to be the mark. Something however rang in the back of his head and he paused a moment. "Not yet he thought" before continuing his watch. Moments passed until he heard some talking, no rather laughing coming from behind as Zayden turned to check he was shot with an arrow which caused him to fall from the tree and to his back lucky for him the fall was a short one but the pain he felt was long lasting. "Dammit my wing dammit" Zayden cursed felling the pain radiate throughout his back. as he managed to scramble to his feet he was slowly but surely being surrounded but from whom. Zayden attempted to take off only to receive another arrow grazing passed his face and halting his movement. "Shit" Again he cursed realizing escape may not be a possibility, until the presence showed himself. It was kobold of green and brown fur.
"im sorry but ill need none of you fancy flyboys here, im afraid this will be the end of your journey" The kobold says drawing back an arrow and just before he loosed it Zayden grabbed his foot making his arrow fly off the mark and into a tree. the two more so wrestled at this point than fought ultimately ending with Zayden crushing his skull with a rock and brandishing a twisted smirk "This now this would be fun" Zayden thought as he dragged his broken wing and dead mark back to the station.

Isaura sighed as cut down more branches in search of adequate firewood. She had already found and tied large leaves together. She used large sheets of bark to put the things she had bought on. When her work was done she settled into her makeshift home. This wasn’t the first time that she had to turn a cave into a place of residence, however this was the first time that he had to do so with a future that she wasn’t sure of. She didn’t quite know what to do with herself and had it in her mind to contemplate life when he felt a new aura quickly approaching. Fearing the worst, she grabbed her weapons and scurried to the back of the cave.
For a moment, everything was quiet before the distinct clash of auras could be felt, emphasized only by the sound of fighting. She drew closer, knowing whatever was out there was not there for her. She moved through the trees, using the shadows to keep her hidden as she watched the fight in fascinations. When it was over she watched the more victors aura brightened as he took his captive away. Frowning, she sent a bit of healing aura after the champion of the fight as he left.

Zayden continued to walk dragging the bloody body of his current "Vic...bounty" he thought to himself As he stopped a moment to lean against a tree. The pain had all but subsided from his reckless fall from the tree and what's more every time he attempted to stretch the broken wing would involuntarily attempt to flex. "dammit" Zayden would curse under as he lifted himself from the tree. night was fast approaching and it didn't take an Archmage to know that a bloody corpse would incite the unwanted attentions of more vicious and violent species.
As Zayden continued his trek through the forest his wing as if by a divine favor had begin to ease up and while not full taken away the pain was much more manageable but how he hadn't learned any of the healing abilities that that his mother knew and he couldn't regenerate as his father could...at least not yet but from whence did this feeling come from. it didn't matter at this point he just needed to find an area to rest in for a bit.
Zayden slowly looked over the forest with what little natural light was apparent and he spotted a cave that seemed to be out of the way he slowly made his way for the cave as he thought to himself "Finally a moments reprieve."

Isaura frowned when the direction the auras were headed changed course and drew closer to her cave. She growled and raced to return home. She could smell them, taking up her space already and it made her uneasy. She supposed she could move on and find another spot. She could feel the damage that was done to the defeated one. She took a deep breath and wondered how she was going to remove her things without being noticed. She waited until the sun had set and the aura of the victor had settled before she entered the cave and made her attempt at receiving her things.

Zayden had approached the mouth of the cave scanning the entrance and going just deep enough that he was out of sight of the animal and prayed he was scented or tracked. "This should be good" zayden thought to himself as he leaned against the wall and cut a look to the side growing a bit nervous as he layed eyes on a few things that weren't his leading him to think this cave may have had a prior occupant he just prayed that if they returned they were kind he was in no condition for another fight not that he could call what happened the first time a fight.
Zayden calmed himself and focused his thoughts and on his inner energies while he didn't have mastery nor really know what he was even doing he witnessed his father do it countless times. As he focused he felt a pain tear through his wing and momentarily wracked his body forcing him to instantly lose focus and fall unconscious...

Isaura slipped in and looked around before seeing form of the fight’s winner laying on the ground. She felt for his aura and cursed when it did not push back. She looked at her things and knew she could get them and be gone before the male came to his senses but she could not leave him like this. She thought to do so would be cruel and unjustifiable. So put her things together and into the bag before pushing them closer to the exit of the cave. She left the cave and captured a small animal before killing it. she carried it to the cave and looked over the male with caution aware. She focused her attention on using his own aura to help him heal himself.

Once she did all that she thought she could she pulled a knife from the sheath at her hip and cut the rodent open before gutting it and holding the muscle to the fire that was going so that she could eat. She made sure to keep a wary eye on the male and heard him groan. She held the muscle of the rodent in her mouth as she held her knife ready to attack if he so much as seemed as though he might attack her.

Zayden stirred a moment only to crease his eyes and see what he thought to be the prior occupant of this cave. Zayden edged his way against the wall and bumping his wing only to find that the pain that had been there minor or no had been completely gone. He noticed that she sat at the ready with her hand on what appeared to be a hunting Dagger?, or maybe a knife? unsure of what the weapon was one thing remained clear, she hadn't struck and he wasn't dead but had a healed wing this lead Zayden to believe his prayers were answered and she at least seemed kind.

Zayden would extend his hand for a handshake cautiously as to not set her off "my name is Zayden, Zayden Advence and im not sure how you did it but you are the one that healed my wing yes?, if so then I owe you a great deal for allowing me a safe albeit rest if you can call knocking yourself out from misunderstanding your own capabilities" He chuckled to him self "mind if I ask your name?"

“Hi,” Isaura responded slowly. She eyed him and shook her head “I am Isaura,” she stood from her crouched position and responded, “yes I helped you heal. Although I do regret it. I would have aided you more, however, I did not wish to hurt you more and have you awake and attack.”

She sighed and pocketed her knife, “your bones have been healing in the wrong position. We can work on healing you more but to do that I am going to have to break your bones all over again, and” she said stressing the next part, “You will be required to remain awake during it.”

She frowned at the shift in his aura and hoped to explain away his misgivings, “If you were to sleep it would be harder on myself and only you know how your wings are supposed to feel,” she tried to explain, “and I am sure you would like to return to wherever you came from.”

Zayden Listened intently to what Isaura had to say. As anyone's would Zayden's ears seemed to prick up a bit from hearing his wing had to be re broken and set. While Zayden knew that this may have been a possibility it still scared him a bit. But not having an ability to fly scared him even more, Zayden sighed and stared off a moment gazing at kobold corpse and growing furious a moment before quickly calming himself. "ok I imagine this will hurt but id like to thank you in advance you, know nothing of me and yet youre still willing to help, the world needs more kind people like you passing through the gate.

Unsure of what to do exactly Zayden removed his shirt and Began explaining the anatomy of his wing, To hopefully aid in the believed painful experience that was soon to follow. Zayden would take His shirt and ball it up so after his explanation he had something to bite down on. "Ok now its quite simple currently my wings are more like that of an enormous bird. So the same way in which they would flex there wings I flex mine if I could id show you but that will have to wait im sorry" Zayden said Finalizing his Explanation Zayden would take a deep nervous breath "Ok lets begin" Zayden said with all seriousness.

Isaura stated that he would have to sit up. She approached him and walked around to his back. Slowly she felt along his back leading up to his damaged wing and then the wing itself. She closed her eyes and concentrated before pulling her knife out and cut along the lining at the base of his wing. She dug two of her clawed fingers in and pulled out the piece of the arrow that was making it so hard for him to actually heal.

Once that was out she concentrated her aura and pulled his own healing abilities forth. Next she moved her fingers along the skin and bones of his wing breaking and resetting the areas that needed it. She couldn’t help but be proud of this male, of Zayden. He was handling this better than many of the warriors back at the castle had. And whatever he was, she knew it would be hard for him to learn how to utilize his own healing abilities because of his mixed blood. Once she finished she removed parts of her aura from his body and hoped that the parts she had left behind would help him and not cause him too much unnecessary pain.

Zayden took Isauras direction setting himself upright and trying to take his mind to other places as she performed her operation on him. Zayden drifted off to a time when he wanted nothing more than to be like his dad back in the days when he was a short chubby kid with wings that could barely hold him aloft for more than a few moments. To him his dad seemed all powerful, unstoppable even but what parent isint unstoppable to their kid. He remembered the moment when he told his dad he was gonna be just like him when he got older and his dad stared at him for a moment before speaking and telling him that he had limitless potential. This was one of the few compliments his father rarely paid him as he would grow to find out.

Moments later Isaura would finish and Zayden would brandish an excited smile as he was relieved to have his wing begin healing properly. Zayden would turn around holding her hands "you don't have any idea what this means to me really ive never been so ecstatic in my life. there must be some way I can repay" he said excitedly "are you from the city" Zayden asked looking at Isaura

“N- n- no,” she said stuttering. The city actually scared her. Her Master had told her about the city. She had been near the city for some of her missions. It was pleasant for a while, but always, without fail, the onslaught of auras would wear on her and she would be left weak and weary, forced to kill so that she would not die. She suspected not all of the city was like that but she had no intention of living there.
“And really,” she said sincerely having had such an intimate connection with his aura and in her own way feeling as though she had violated him, even if it were only to help him. She recognized the aura of his signature. His father was one of the kings. One of the kings that definitely knew her Master and would recognize her if he saw her. Or maybe, she thought, the king would help her find her Master, “I would, perhaps, like to return to your home with you. I imagine the environment is safer and I would also like to ensure that you are healing as fast as possible.”
She paused and added as an after thought, “You’re also going to need someone there to stretch your wing out for you so that it does not grow weak from lack of use.”

Although guessing there was nothing minutely sexual behind it Zayden couldn't help the warmth that washed his body. "yes my wing" he said thinking to himself that there was a lot that went into healing a broken bone. "But yes as you stated it might be safer there anyways and now that ive had a chance to rest, even though I cant fly I can run it shouldn't be to far from here to the city I live towards the outskirts, away from most of the hustle and bustle" Zayden said "So if I had to guess id say its a bout 5mi run "i don't wanna push you to hard do you think that's something you can make" Zayden would ask Cautiously.

She smiled and said, “I can make it,” before frowning, “I just need to fe-” she paused cutting herself short, “eat first” she said as she moved away from him. She ran and leapt out of the cave disappearing into the forest as she set off to find larger game to consume. She didn’t want to be weak when she arrived at his home. So as she consumed another animal she thought maybe she had ate too much but she needed to be prepared. She moved towards the stream and cleaned her face of the blood and returned to the cave.
She was surprised to see him ready to leave. She pocketed the dried rabbit muscle and grabbed her things, glad that she had been prepared for a fight so now leaving the cave was easy. She chewed on the rabbit jerky and giggled at her own thoughts as she struggled to keep up with Zayden. Daylight was not her friend.
