[@Mr Allen J] For my 'just a mind' character, he'd be very weak to any direct mental attacks, which could cause him to die if they persist for long enough, plus he'd also die if over exerted his abilities. I was thinking of making him a technopath, so his mind takes control of various, self-made robots if he ever needs to fight something.

As for backstory thing, I can see that and while I usually pull the dark past card a lot, I'll try not to thus time.
