This sounds quite interesting, I'd like to see where this one goes... A question of my own: You mentioned you wanted this to be a subtle awakening, and that our character would be experiencing change in various forms. Change of mentality seems to be an obvious choice, but what about changes to their physical bodies? Not talking about a full on shift into a demonic creature, but odd changes like shifts in eye color, hair color, shape of teeth... Those kinds of things.
