People may not agree with me, but lesser of two evils. So the werewolves may lose their shit every now and then and kill humans, but compare that to vampires who delight in killing humans.

The reason I say some people may not agree with me is that I'm sure the vampires offer some sort of animosity towards humans, if only to serve as cattle for feeding. They have to keep some humans alive if only for food, which is a way to survive, which many people would pick over resisting the vampires and being killed for fighting them
