I stared at the piece of paper for a long moment. Mizu had killed [i]L's personal assistant[/i]? This was dangerous. Ideally, we needed to stay as far away from L as we could, but Mizu was murdering people close to him - and related to herself. 

Ezerion cackled as he read the piece of paper over. "Little Sis is afraid of everything," he said, and I blushed as I realized [i]everyone[/i] could hear it. It couldn't be normal for a Shinigami to refer to you as a sibling...

Hastily, I wrote, "Does L suspect you?" and passed the note back to Mizu. This girl was risking way too much - she was risking [i]my[/i] life! But perhaps, somehow, she could use her cousin's connection to L to find his name...
