So is the darkness another world? Or does the ritual open some kind of door and the "darkness" begins to slip into the mortal world? I'm really liking this idea, but I need you to elaborate a little more so I'm thinking in the right direction. : P 

I'm looking forward to what we come up with for these rituals too.
