Hindsight is 20/20, and Kanitah's choice isn't the best one, but it's the one he made. I personally know which is the better option, and yeah, it would make way more sense for him to hunt Fury down and destroy him with all of the Pundambayan Mechanical Might. Equipping himself with power armor, energy weapons and melee weapons. Arming himself with an interstellar craft and heading out into space to make sure that Fury is eliminated so that his daughter isn't put in harm's way. But he didn't chose that option. Bita chose to fully equip herself and head out into the Wild Black Yonder that is Space to hunt down and destroy the man who nearly killed her father, Kanitah simply chased after her in a ship to try and convince her to come back home. He didn't arm himself because he didn't think he was going to have to fight anyone, the only thing that he brought along with him was the Engine. Just in case he had to force her to come back. Kanitah wasn't thinking as a man with a vengeance, he was thinking as a father concerned for his daughter.
