Char continued his seemingly hopeless assault n these new units. He had to admit these ones were a tad bit stronger than the last batch. That did not help his continuously depleting energy supply. The Zaku II did not use that much energy in battle but that was not always a good thing. He only had a few more shots with his bazooka and he wasn't going to be using his machine gun too much more this battle. It was a shame that Char Azrael would be dying in a place like this. A place where he had no idea where the hell he was or how he got there or how he would leaving. Especially since they had no ship or a way to recharge or resupply. Wait that gave him an idea. It was curiously devious but first he had to ditch this scene and re-position himself better for an attack. Char came across the last Leo from his initial share of the fray. The Red Ace could see its beam saber swing swing at him. He quickly had his suit step back and swung his heat hawk upward to cut the Leo's hand in half. He was so out of range it only destroyed the suits fingers knocking the beam saber on the ground. Char swung back at the predictable suit and send it flying as he reached down to pick up the beam saber. Sure his unit could not recharge it from his energy supply. But the blade was still ignited from his foes use. That meant he could easily use this to make a few kills and cause some damage. He quickly placed his Heat Hawk back in its place under his shoulder shield and he plunged the beam saber into an on coming Ginn's chest. That moment Char heard a blast some where behind him. This was not the time to be distracted so he went straight forward with his new toy. It was a bit less balanced than his heat hawk but it would work for now. Char parried a hit from one of the giant blades of a Ginn. The thermal effect of a beam saber seemed to be greater than his heat hawk. This made brushing off a few Ginn's rather effective. However he was not ready to go on the offensive until he had a good strike because he was not sure of his reaction time. Then he used his thrusters to quickly back off and swoop back in carefully watching the timing of their strikes and cleaving through one's head. It wouldn't die there but it sure would have a tough time seeing with that. That was when the beam saber retraction and died on him. Useless piece of junk. I guess those square suit's actually were useless. Char decided to fly back to get his bazooka. He remembered dropping it near the start point so he would need to go back their quickly to retrieve it. Then the Red Ace took a look around and one of the girl's suits' were missing. There seemed to be large gap in the enemy numbers and one suit missing. First they were outnumbered and then they overkill a bunch of cronies. Now that there were more than expected they end up dying in battle. Wait wasn't the missing suit the one who claimed to be military. Meaning she went down with military training. Then Char noticed a flare shoot up. Dammit still alive, huh. Char felt that whoever this person was would be more of liability than anything but he should focus on the task at hand now. There were a couple of the Ginn's approaching him nd gining grounds on him and they were armed about as well as he was when this fight started. Well all except their thruster speed which was not a huge advantage in this battle. The Red Ace mounted his Bazooka on his should and positioned it up to his camera. Then he scanned the area for a good shot and there wasn't really one. The remaining ones were a bit smarter than the last batch. Char decided to lock-on the closest suit and fire.
