Tobias backhanded a charging skeleton with his shield arm sending the creature flying to the ground where two town guardsmen as if rehearsed hacked it apart with their weapons without a pause before resuming the fight elsewhere, The town guards had rallied in the street forming solid fighting units supporting each other unlike before when they where scattered and initially scared of the creatures. The guards now with experience knowing they can cut them down fight-on with renewed enthusiasm steadily containing the immediate threat to the town & its populous. [color=00FFFF]"They actually look like a trained fighting force now instead of a militia rabble... least this experience will help them deal with things to come..."[/color] Tobias calmly speaking to himself as he stood observing his surroundings making sure everything was progressing well.

Meanwhile...

The fighting continued in the heavily burnt pub the people fighting inside & the demon were briefly interrupted when a spear with three skulls impaled on it, like bits of meat on a kabab-skewer came flying through a burnt out window and passing between the armored demon & the person he was focused on before it dug itself deeply into one of the bar's walls as a metallic noise rang from it. There was a brief pause but no one seemed to follow after the weapon, a little while later as the fighting had resumed for a bit, a skeleton came crashing through another window shattering the still intact glass-panel as the skeleton shattered in pieces as it hit the bar floor, a short sword was stuck in what was the creatures shoulder blade however again a brief pause and still no one appeared while the fighting continued on a little further.

Then after some nearby yelling from outside several skeletons came crashing through the previously breached doorway on-top of each other as a large wooden barrel had been hurled at them, which loudly shattered after crushing the skeletons on the floor (and almost hitting the people inside near the doorway) water splashed fourth as the barrel broke soaking the wooden floor, some of it splashing the lower leg of the armored demon in the process.

No later after the barrel had shattered Katia enthusiastically barged into the pub to observe her handy work with the last three, When she noticed the others & the huge creature they were fighting. Katia taking in the situation calmly looked at the others while pointing her thumb in a gesture towards the demon [color=FFFF00]"i take it he's the boss of the undead things then?"[/color] she asked politely as her other hand was already reaching for one of the axes on her belt, to join in the fray and help the others out as the demon looked like trouble.
