Finn Lockhart Technically, Finn Lockhart did not own an apartment. When Finn had joined the Conclave and been assigned to work with Jessica, they'd put him in the same apartment as her, a three bedroom that they paid for. Most people who worked with the Conclave lived in one of the havens that they had set up, however, Jessica had been able to garner a deal. So for all intents an purposes, when Finn woke up, it was in his room of his and Jessica's apartment. Up until yesterday, the two had shared the place with Mary, another girl in the Conclave. However, Mary was now dead. Finn rolled out of bed, wearing boxers and a Pink Floyd shirt that he'd bought somewhere and made his way into the kitchen, rubbing the sleep from his multicolored eyes. Jessica was already there, staring at the toaster with the typical disdain she had in the morning. "You missed lovely Steven Callahan's announcement Sleeping Beauty," she said as he took a seat at small, circular table, one of the few pieces of furniture in the small area where the pair lived. "What could that man possibly have to say at a time like this? Hasn't he done all of his gloating?" Finn inquired. "He claims that of the Rally participants, only 5% are still up and kicking. They're sending out the Wardens to take the rest out," Jessica replied, snatching the waffle that flew out of the toaster and taking a bite, not bothering with syrup. "Gotta love the Wardens. On a less positive note, how much trouble are we in?" he asked. "Oh with our little friend from Lacie's? No idea. Even if he was D.M.A all he has to go on is the lies I told him. He only knows my first name, and who's to say he believes it. Plus, there were bigger fish to fry in that bar. Hopefully I distracted him enough that he never saw Cole but I doubt we're in any serious trouble." Finn knew what she mean when she mentioned Cole. The Gifted in question was pretty well known throughout the Gifted and D.M.A. circles. He'd spent time in both the Conclave and the M.R.F. and had taken out plenty of D.M.A. agents. He and Jessica had saved plenty of Gifted but they weren't anywhere near that level of notoriety. With his fears somewhat diminished, though he still had the anxious feeling that was a great perk of being hunted every second of the day, Finn began to make himself breakfast, with the nagging feeling that something big would happen today.
