Finn Lockhart [@Inertia][@TheDarkTemplar] Finn Lockhart spent a little too much time at a bar for a sixteen year old. He didn't drink so he really only went for the conversation. Although today he went more so for the news. He figured someone there would've picked up on something useful. So after he had eaten, Jessica dropped him off outside of Lacie's, on her way to a Conclave assignment. He swept his hand through his hair and walked in, smiling as the bell above the door jangled in the quiet of the bar. He noticed Seth and Cole were over at Cole's normal spot. "Gentleman," Finn greeted as he strode over to the older Gifted. Finn had known the two for a while now, seeing as how he and Cole were regulars at the bar, and Seth worked there. For this reason, Finn's generally cold exterior was down, replaced by the much more welcoming version of himself. These two different versions of Finn had been a necessary side effect of everything Finn had experienced in the past few years. After running away, Finn lost the one person who he'd actually been able to trust completely. It wasn't like he hadn't had friends but none of them compared to the relationship he and his sister had had. He had been unable to think straight for a while and it had almost gotten him killed. In order to keep himself safe, he had to keep most people out, refusing to be hurt again if they died, or he had to leave. So far, he was still alive. Jessica Thompson [@Cuccoruler] Jessica Thompson wasn't mad about having to go work at an orphanage. She was just slightly peaved. Okay she was pissed. Jessica didn't do kids. They were sticky and gross and Jessica hated those things. She liked organized and well put together. So no, kids were not her thing. But the Conclave had said that she should go help the place out, let the kid's know that they had a life ready for them at the Conclave, should they choose to take it. It was for that reason that Jessica was pulling up to an orphanage in her black BMW, an older car from before the Genocide had started. Jessica walked up to the door and went on in, not bothering to knock. They'd mentioned that she should go talk to a girl named Cia, who Jessica was pretty sure was a regular at Lacie's. She was bumped aside by two kids, about thirteen, running through the hall. She recoiled, and screwed up her face. After brushing herself off she made her way to the kitchen, where she found who she assumed was Cia. Well she was pretty positive. Jessica wasn't aware of many armless, Gifted girls, that worked for this particular orphanage. The blonde knocked three times on the wall, signaling her arrival. "Ummm are you Cia? I'm Jessica from the Conclave. Maybe they told you about me? I'm here to lend you a hand," she said before cringing internally at the accidental pun she had just made.
