Matuna's tactful and rather kind act of pretending to stare at some painting was lost upon Crompter, who remained far too intoxicated to notice such small things. He did hear his name though, and notice that somebody was talking to him. Alrin the Necromancer, the man had introduced himself as. "Well I'm Wizard Crompter," he boisterously replied back to Alrin and all the rest of the room. That was about all the introduction and friendliness he planned to offer them. Suddenly noticing the apparition appear and walk into the room, the obnoxious wizard suddenly fell dead silent. His glazed eyes squinted in concentration, or possibly contempt, as stared intently at the White Goblin. That was him alright; Crompter recognized that one, unfortunately. "You!" he slurred out, approaching tipsily as he pointed a shaky hand at the Mystic's apparition. Of course, everything was so blurry in his vision that Crompter didn't even realize he was looking at a mere image, an apparition. "You! Xule- I mean, Xulit- I forget you name!" Anger clear in his eyes, a moment later he declared, "You're that bothersome little blind goblin that pestered me for weeks..." What followed that remark was Crompter spitting out an almost unintelligible trail of insults to the White Goblin, most of which were rather uncreative and nonsensical seeing as he wasn't in the best state of mind. His spittle did not abate until Seadus began to speak. His voice startled Crompter, who had been so preoccupied by the White Goblin to have not even noticed the Prince's presence. He staggered over a chair and sat down. What had been a fine piece of furniture, posh and crafted from fine silver, turned into a stool of mere oak. It was crude and rough around the edges, much like the one who sat upon it.
