With the attack of the Cucco the movement of the Octoroaka's long body ceased like the freezing of a river in the winter. The scarlet hue began to fade into a deep dark brown that rotted into black. For a brief moment it smelled terrible but then they body withered away, slowly shrinking into a tiny Octo which sunk into the water. 

Then oddly enough it shot out projectiles from the water. However, these werent cannon balls. They were various boons!

Three full Heart Containers glistened like diamonds while two Strength bangles sat on the shore. Over in the calm waves was an ancient potion bottle which no doubt contained something beneficial to a magic user. How these rewards would be shared had yet to be decided. 

[B]"Wow! I've never seen a creature drop so many things at once! You'd think we just killed a legion of mosters for all that stuff! HHey Rida! Your Cucco is pretty awesome. How the heck did you train it to do that!"[/b] Viv was brimming with excitment but tthere were other matters to worry about.

Turning to see the one who wore that odd warrior mask, Viv waved. [B]"HHey! That was realy awesome Of you to help. Whats your name? Im Viv from the Heroes Club. You are sooo getting recruited!"[/b]
