I've heard the term hook before. We use it at work with our display products. Once people can hold it they are hooked and want to purchase it even more. The bait is the brand name and reputation.

[@Mahz] on the stats page, tab thing at the very bottom of the front page, would daily stats help? (Post per day, new members in last 24 hrs, active roleplays, etc)?
