Kuhaku Shiro - Airship Docks
Shiro absently sniffed at the air and could smell blood drawn, which worried him while at the same time confused him. Why Robert would blatantly lie and even go so far as to hide his hand behind his back was beyond him. Needless to say however, the lie marred Shiro's initial impressions of the red-haired student. Tilting his head, his train of thought was redirected in its path when Robert questioned him about his history of insect bites. "No, can't say I've ever been bitten by a venomous spider. I'd imagine it'd be pretty lethal and painful though." Looking up at the skies above to search his thoughts, Shiro continued after scratching the back of his head and laughing. "Don't think I'll make it a habit to get bitten though. You make it sound like a pretty troublesome event." He was about to ask if maybe Robert was speaking from experience, but the next question again redirected his train of thought. "Oh, me? I was going down into the city to maybe look to get a little music player and some earbuds to go with it. Other than that, I don't have any plans. What about you?" Before anyone else could get another word in, a blue-haired student sitting at a nearby bench situated on the Airship docks butted into the conversation. The new stranger laughing obnoxiously as he did so. Shiro frowned, his tail swaying to and fro. His ears twitching anxiously. The boy then went on to detail his own 'personal' Broodling bite story, but there was something about his tone that he carried on with that didn't sit right with Shiro. It sounded and felt dishonest, as if he were boasting. As the boy stood and approached them, he introduced himself as Cobalt. His appearance reminded him of another student in his classes, Shiro thought. "Can't help but think he looks a lot like someone else...Anyways, I shouldn't be rude and quick to judge." Smiling, Shiro reached out with his bandaged hands for 'Cobalt' to shake. "Ah, welcome to Beacon Cobalt! Nice to meet you, I'm Kuhaku Shiro. You can just call me Shiro though," Shiro laughed as he finished up his introduction. "Kuhaku's my family name. My last name, if you will. But for some reason my surname comes first."
