True Detective S1 - Is [i]amazing[/i]. As far as the second season is concerned... I don't know what happened. I'm limping through it slowly if only because I hope it gets better.

Supernatural - I've never watched myself but a friend told me basically the same thing you did. Was great up until they started "running out of ideas". His words. Might have to try watching it.

Being Human - I've always wanted to watch this but haven't really gotten around to it.

Outlander I've heard of but the others not so much. Anything remotely related to Firefly though and I'm interested.

What I'm watching right now?

Mr. Robot - A must watch its sooo good. Focuses on hacking, in a vigilante kind of way, and the friends and enemies you make living such a life. Interesting premise, fun characters... lots of tech savvy stuff I don't understand. Three episodes in and I'm dying to see the rest.

Black Sails - I think this is completely underrated. First season was a little slow but the second blew me away. High production value so everything looks authentic. Lots of pirate action and pirate sex and pirate booze. Underneath all the flash of it's genre is a deep compelling narrative. I highly recommend this.

Terra Nova - One season released a few years ago and then they decided to cancel it. It was a really good show and ended on a bit of a cliffhanger that still has me a little puzzled. Dinosaurs, time travel, future stuff. Surprisingly family friendly too. Not sure where you can watch it though... I think the last time I watched it was on Netflix.

Some other shows I've enjoyed watching: Halt and Catch Fire, House of Cards, Bates Motel, American Horror Story, Falling Skies.
