Well...things certainly did get tense awfully fast. In a situation like this there was only one thing he could think of doing that could diffuse an entirely different sort of bar brawl from erupting here, potentially along with a lot of innocents-incinerating nuclear fire. It would cost him dearly, perhaps even cost him everything. But for the good of the bar and all of its' patrons and for the sake of peace itself it had to be done.

August slammed his entire not inconsiderate coinpurse down on the bar, manipulating the metal of the coins within subtly so that the sound of coins hitting the wood jangled out audibly but musically and rather pleasantly to everyone in the room, hopefully shocking them out of their rage with surprise if nothing else. At the same time he jumped up from his stool with a calm, flat little sort of smile on his face and positioned himself as directly as possible between everyone else with his hands on his head to show he was completely non-hostile.

"Now, we can get into a fight and obliterate the entire bar and likely get a lot of innocent people killed in the process and waste a lot of paid-for drinks or we can all prove we aren't so bad by just sitting down and enjoying some free drinks." Addressing the Gojira-girl specifically he gave a wary little smile "It's fine if you just wanna be left alone, I can respect that. But obliterating the bar and the people in it just leaves you without a place to drink. So...let's just sit down and talk this over."

Already the bodyguard in his shard had noticed that there were two metal trays nearby and he could potentially jerk them over to serve as shields if people's attacks did wind up being unleashed to increase his chances of survival, but August hoped it wouldn't come to that.
