She is normally found in her usual corporate attire, a severe looking grey suit and trousers accented by a plain white shirt. She has also taken to wearing the skipper's cap on occasion, although she is still adjusting to the role. Species Human, Tyran native Rank/Specialism Captain Skills Trained at the prestigious Imperial Military Academy on IV Arno, Conroy is an outstanding tactician and commander. Her training covered everything from the mathematics of unaided gunnery, through counselling upset subordinates, to personal combat with knife and rifle, making her the best possible candidate for her intended role as the ship's Executive Officer. She is less prepared for Captaincy however, having never seriously expected to command her own ship. Many of the other skills required of a captain, such as diplomacy, foresight and a head for business are sadly not in her repertoire. Personality Aoife is an expert at hiding her true emotions and projecting an impression of complete calmness and control at all times. She is also blessed with nerves of steel and a certain stubbornness that her instructors could never beat out of her, making her a dangerous woman to cross. Under the calm, professional exterior hides a much more conflicted person, unsure of herself and frankly terrified of the responsibility laid before her. Aoife is deeply patriotic and political, believing that her parent corporation's methods and policies are inherently superior; if engaged in a political debate, she will quickly overwhelm the opposition with reasons as to why corporate meritocracy is the ideal system. To those who are more friends than co-workers, Aoife is more honest about her insecurities, allowing them to manifest as a deep-seated cynicism. Bio: Preferably at least two full paragraphs.
