Basically this.

Fallout (or at least the Fallouts that aren't Fallout 3) doesn't take itself too seriously.

So you get teh lulz and teh exploding heads.

Also NV DLC is pretty cool imho.

Dead Money could've done with some tweaks because fuck ghost people and their invincibility unless you're melee.

Also this seems relevant if only because of the name- [url=http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57927/]Dust Survival Simulator for FNV[/url] (That mod is hardcore though. No more heroics there.)

(BTW House ftw, or Independant, esp. because I always end up nuking the other two options.)
