[@IcePezz] Well, he did soften up a bit as the RP went on. His first adventure, he met a wandering samurai that helped out and told him about how in his culture, a samurai without a master is called a ronin, and how he preferred that over calling oneself a rogue or outlaw. Afterwards, Shoda began calling himself ronin and slowly tried emulating aspects of the samurai. After reluctantly getting some friends, and a love interest, several of the former being killed and being thrust into situations where he had to protect people despite his better instinct telling him not to, Shoda grew from his neutral role into a heroic one. Even at the end, he was still paranoid, sarcastic and selfish, but he was able to actually get close to people. I'm proud of Shoda for being my best example of character development from a personality standpoint.
