Hi, Bookworm, and welcome! I'm also a casual RPer. Sometimes I glance at the Advanced section wistfully and hope day I'll be able to output enough text to be on their level... But that's wishful thinking for me. There are always plenty of Casual and Free roleplays floating around; I recommend you check out the interest checks and see if anything intrigues you. Also, you can always create your own RP (if you think you can manage it). I've done it before; it's not easy, but it's fun! Also if you're a fan of writing simply for writing's sake, there's a contest going on right now called TTL (The Twelve Labours), and it's the third one in the series of twelve. See the link on the homepage for more details if you're interested. (There's also the RPGC series, but the most recent oe just finished; the next one will be available after the TTL is done, I suspect.) If you win you get a forum trophy! :D Anywho, I hope you have a great time here! EDIT: Oh, and as for writer's block, give it time. This spring I had a TERRIBLE case of it. I mean just awful. But it goes away; it always does. Just keep writing no matter how bad you think it is (it most often isn't that bad!) and slowly, you'll find yourself back in the groove. Read a book, watch a movie, learn a new language, take a walk. Just relax and you'll be fine in no time!
