"Wha-I mean uh, it's my HONOR to serve you lady summoner ma'am." Sifen was a bit flustered that his plan worked. He bowed his head, letting the rifle hang by it's strap and holding one hand out to the side. He couldn't believe it worked, he could finally get back to finding odd jobs in Bikanel with the Al Bhed. When he picked his head up, he caught almost everyone exiting, sin him and two others. One of which was the poor frail girl he had forced into the air by slipping onto the bed. She spoke of Al Bhed ships, which intrigued his interest. "I can get you on one of those ships, just not all of them. I have uh... Well I came here on one. An apprentice airship mechanic and well, mid flight upgrades aren't exactly allowed." He spoke, walking over, bending down and grabbing his tools on the way. He had figured out that he couldn't bring all of what he carried with him, and left most of the scrap metal on the ground, brushing it aside making sure not to slip. "But I know a few guys who work on them. Not as fun as you'd hope and well." He sat next to her on the bed. "Why wouldn't you be able to come anyways?" He asked, oblivious to anything going on with her. "I didn't hit you that hard did I?" He punched her lightly in the arm, probably harder than he should have. He smiled at her, having no idea that he became a guardian just a few moments ago. He was aware he was with a summoner, and that he was accepted by her but hadn't made the connection between the two.
