The snakes were beginning to notice their group, and Tatsumi knew they had to get moving. Sinthe went first, without consent.. Tatsumi sighed as the foolhardy man rushed in. We had a plan... at least I'm not the one rushing in this time. Either way Tatsumi knew he had to back him up. He freed his sword from its sheath, running after Sinthe. "Right behind you Sinthe!" Tatsumi called out reassuringly. As he was closing the distance between himself and the monster Tatsumi decided to make and effort to replicate the strange magic he used before. Still running he raised his hand and focused, forming an image of the desired effect in his head. Just like that a shadowy spear rose from the ground, flying towards the spider creature's cephalothorax. It worked! I must have some sort of control over the shadows in this world... strange. Meanwhile, as the spear zoomed into the creature's body, Tatsumi reached the hideous snake legs. While Sinthe attempted to climb, Tatsumi decided to try to limit the creature's mobility and senses. He raised his sword and hacked at the nearest snake, attempting to separate it from its 'body'.
