Alex sighed again, raising her gaze to look around. The stench of blood still hung in the air, stinging her nose. So much. It gave her a feeling of unfamiliar nostalgia. She swore she could still taste blood, yet when she moved her tongue there was no sign of the rustic liquid in a physical sense. It made her wonder if this event was hitting her harder than even she realized. Was she going mental? Smelling a waterfall of blood and tasting it? That's just silly, even with this tragedy. Her skin felt itchy, almost like she wanted to rip it off. Lady Yuna watched the tall woman seem to glance around a bit, expression confused before gently reaching and patting her cheek. Touching the vivid scar along her cheekbone. "Are you going to go with Gippal and Urick? They seem to have found themselves a summoner. It's been your dream to be a Guardian since you were little." Lady Yuna said with a soft smile, distracting Alex from her thoughts to cough and stutter out words before huffing. "Well yeah but it isn't up to me if I can go or not. It's the summoner who decides who their Guardians are. Just asking for it takes away the honor and lessens the believability of the trust the Summoner has." "That hasn't stopped you before from breaking rules. Especially if those two were involved." "T-This is different! Plus, their little group has a few Guardians I rather not be around otherwise I might punch them. Besides... My gut is telling me... I shouldn't go with them. I'm not sure why. Just... A bad feeling. There is a sense to protect, but something else is telling me to stay back. My gut is never wrong." Alex said softly before clenching her fists tightly. "But I will find Thane. And I'm going to beat his face in. With or without anyone's help. He's going to pay for what he did to everyone here. Nothing is going to stop me from that." she said with a growl. Lady Yuna listened for a moment before chuckling a little in amusement. "You know, not every group gets along at first. Tidus had his own little disagreements with the others when he first joined us. But in the end, we all had the strongest bond more than any other. Besides, despite how you appear to be a prickly cactuar, you have the kindest heart. Even when you try to deny it. And knowing Naisha, she'll feel the same as you." she said, causing the red head to sign in defeat in knowing the summoner was right. Looking back toward where she came from she sighed again. "Yeah.... But Cottonhead will probably take her with him because of that. I on the other hand probably won't be. Maybe I'll just kinda follow to make sure their okay. Not like I can go in the temples anyways." Alex muttered a bit before looking to the summoner. "Lady Yuna, have you seen Nai's parents?" The tall woman asked. Yuna nodded with a smile, reaching her hands and gently holding the taller woman's head between them, using a Cura spell. "Yes. They're okay. They're off helping the injured. And I hope you know you're not exactly the stealthy type." she answered causing Alex to nod and step away. "Good, thank you Lady Yuna. I'm going to go pack for the journey then. And hey, I can be sneaky if I want to be.... It's just boring. See ya!" Alex said with a grin, briefly saluting before going off, moving through town. Trying to count all she needed, she thought deeply before she was suddenly grabbed by the arm by a local woman of the village. "Alex! Could you help carrying supplies? These are too heavy for me and my husband. We need them over to the medical hut." she said. Alex was about to explain she was busy but her blue eyes stared at the woman's desperate expression before looking toward said but. Swearing she could hear painful groans. In which case the red head cursed under her breathe before picking up the large crate beside the woman, about half the size of Alex before starting off toward the hut as she carried the crate on her own with relative ease. "Geez, both of you are wimps! Since when did I become the package Chocobo?!" She shouted as if angry, but was now continuely helping people do heavy lifting and moving things around.
