Basically, AI is created and mankind uses it as servants.  One day, a robot realizes that its master is going to kill it and kills its masters instead.  It tries a self-defense argument, but the US courts refuse to accept it, and order it destroyed.  Paranoia grows and people begin attacking machines.  The machines start there own country, and their economy grew, while the human nation's stocks fell.  The human nations responded with force.  This is where I'd set my RP.
