Yeah, originally he was just going to be a throwaway NPC who talks to Pierre and dies in the first round off posting, but after putting some work into his dialogue I decided to keep him around a little longer to act as a minor antagonist for Pierre and perhaps the group as a whole. I have no idea what his powers will end up being (if he lives long enough to use them), so consider them a work in progress for now.
