Ace heard Cole's voice come through on the radio. Ace hesitated before finally responding."We're fine. We got a few bogeys on our tail but nothing we can't handle." Ace lied, but she lied well. For now, Ace was glad Cole couldn't see her in her current condition because if he did; he'd probably make Ace retreat. Thankfully the wound wasn't near fatal and it had already stopped bleeding due to Ace cauterizing the wound with her lighter. 

Ace lowered her voice so Finn couldn't hear her before she continued, "Have you secured the target? I'm worried about Finn... He's gotten really aggressive... I get that he's worried about Jessica but he acting a bit over the top..."
