No worries! Get it done when you can. I was unexpectedly a little busy today as well. But We are gonna start the IC tomorrow, so preferably, if u can have it done by tomorrow. That would be good. :)
“All I want you is for you to be okay, nothing else. Is that too much to ask?”
Ailís Doyle stands at approximately 162.5 cm (5’4) and weighs approximately 48 kg (106 lbs). Her frame is that of a column, even and slim. Her humble hands, which dissolve into her slender arms, dangle mid-thigh when left at to hang at her sides. Short, pale blonde hair outlines a shagged bob around her head. Her face is exceedingly round with only a slight, protruding chin that she rubs too much. Grand, steel eyes are subtly positioned in a shallow cavity above her upturned nose. Thin, dark eyebrows shadow the skin over her eyes, but they are rarely seen beneath her thick bangs, which always cover her straight forehead. On the left side of her forehead, a small scar stretches out from her hairline and reaches close to her eyebrow. It is often hidden by her bangs as well.
Any time Ailís enters a dream, she is cloaked and is viewed as her seven-year-old self by the target. This is due to the security she feels as a child as well as the fact that those who know her today do not recognize the mini-Ailís through a ten-year gap.
Personality: Though Ailís is soft-spoken, she has very strong opinions and will fight tirelessly for an idea that she believes in. She is strong-willed but will rarely use her energy for personal gain. Ailís will often act with creativity, confidence, and sensitivity - not to create advantage, but to create balance. Karma is an idea that Ailís strongly believes in. She tends to support that the best cure for many problems in this world is compassion and love. She also has a strong sense of morality and lives on being an honest and wholesome young lady.
Ailís finds it easy to make connections with others and has a talent for drawing people in to her warm, dreamy aura. She likes to think of herself as a fresh apple pie--everything people need to comfort their heart and soul within minutes. Ailís believes her purpose in this life is to help others and will often dismiss her own pains in order to ensure those around her are well. While this sometimes means sacrificing her own welfare, Ailís knows being a vessel to human beings will be worth more when she is older.
She will bend over backwards for strangers, but when people attempt to make real friends with her, Ailís instinctively cowers away. From the start, it can be a challenge to get to know Ailís. She doesn’t readily share her personal thoughts and feelings, not unless she is comfortable, and since those thoughts and feelings are the basis for friendships, it can take time and persistence to get to know her personally.
History: Ailís Muirgheal Doyle was born to Catherine and Seamus Doyle at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Her parents had been trying to have a baby for many years, and Ailís, not surprisingly, is the only child they were blessed enough to have. They named her after Seamus’ great-great-great-great grandmother, Ailís Muirgheal McPhee, who immigrated to the United States of America from Ireland in the 1850s. Seamus graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering while Catherine graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Since Catherine has a large family in the New England area, Ailís has always lived in Massachusetts.
Ailís always loved drawing or exploring outside because it allowed her to let her imagination explode out of its box. When she was in grade school, her mother would purchase art supplies and take Ailís down to the local orphanage to share the creativity with other kids. This is most likely the root of Ailís’ altruisitc tendencies. As Ailís entered her early middle school years, she felt her need to help others inflate and become second nature. Most afternoons out of the week, Ailís would go around the neighborhood with her father asking for canned goods or blankets that could be donated to homeless shelters nearby. When there was no food to give, Ailís would visit the shelters herself and talk to the people they housed.
It was around this time that she realized she was different. It was an evening in late December when a boy of about eighteen dozed off in an open bed at the shelter; no jacket, no blanket. Ailís decided to cover him with an extra sheet, considering the devilishly chill months that often enveloped Boston could eat you up in minutes. When her hand brushed his bare skin, Ailís was overcome with deafening grief and visions of the boy caught in a rainstorm. There were blurry houses surrounding her and the boy, but they were unnaturally saturated with dark colors and suffocating desperation. The boy had an umbrella, but no matter how he held it, the rain still managed to drench him. After a few more attempts at shifting the umbrella, the boy finally noticed Ailís standing in the storm. Without a second thought, he handed Ailís the umbrella to prevent her from getting wet.
Ailís found herself back in the shelter before running out of the place as fast as possible. Despite her Chuck’s hitting the pavement in her own neighborhood, she could still feel the anguish of the boy shaking her by the shoulders. After that day, the shelter didn’t see much of her for many years. The young girl decided it was safer to help the kids closer to home and began tutoring elementary kids her mother taught. When Ailís started high school, she tutored kids of the middle school level and happily became a sister figure to many of them.
During Ailís freshman year, she thought about her experience years ago with the boy from the shelter. Deciding to recreate the scene, Ailís waited until her mother was napping on the living room sofa before lightly touching her arm. Everything behind her eyes blackened as if she was passing out, and she found herself in a dark, empty space. Immediately backing away from her mother resulted in the living room restored to Ailís’s eyes.
As the months went, Ailís continued to try her ability out on her parents, always appearing as a younger version of herself to feel more comfortable. She discovered that while she had touched her mother’s arm the first time, she no longer needed to physically touch her to be able to sense her dream state. The overwhelming emotions that flooded Ailís when her parents dreamed began to cause the young girl to stop her own sleeping during the night. She found it hard to sleep when her own parents’ dreams flooded the home and taunted Ailís.
The end of Ailís’s freshman year brought the young girl to finally tell her parents about the abilities she had discovered. Remaining calm, Seamus and Catherine searched far and wide for a place that would be able to help their daughter. Star Ocean Academy revealed itself to be the best option for Ailís Muirgheal Doyle.
Ailís has attended Star Ocean Academy for one year. Her parents send her mail frequently.

Current Classification: Starborn
Special Ability: Ailís can manipulate the dreams of others while they are sleeping or daydreaming.
Imperfection: A target cannot be hurt physically due to a dream injury. The target must be touched physically the first time Ailís wishes to enter their dreams. All times following, contact is not a requirement for that specific target, but lack of contact can limit the potency of Ailís’ manipulation and how long she remains in their dream realm. Lucid dreamers are immune to Ailís’ manipulation as they have complete control over their own dreams. Ailís cannot induce sleep on a wakeful person, nor can she induce REM sleep on a sleeping person. Due to this, she has a limited amount of time while her target is asleep as they must themselves progress through Stages 1, 2, and 3 of sleep before reaching REM sleep - the dream state. Practice suggests that while Ailís has the capability of imprisoning the target in their own dream, she has not achieved a high enough level of experience to keep the target’s dream realm enclosed and intact while keeping her own self substantial within the dream. If the dream falls apart on Ailís’s behalf, the target is reverted back to Stage 2 of sleep immediately. The longer Ailís remains in a target’s dream realm, the more dream-like it become to Ailís. Ailís herself cannot focus very well, which also plays into how long she lasts in her target’s mind. When she loses focus, she is booted from the realm (as opposed to leaving willingly); indeed, this drains her energy significantly and requires her to sleep for hours. Her maximum time limit in another person’s dream realm has been recorded as zero hours, sixteen minutes, and forty-two seconds (00:16:42); however, time in the dream realm is not easily measured, so while a minute is sixty seconds in our own physical world, minutes are as long as the target wishes them to be in their dream realm. Ailís has a minimum recovery time of twenty minutes (00:20:00) [from age 16 and 2 mos]. Her maximum recovery time recorded is nine hours and thirty seven seconds (09:00:37) [from age 12yrs and 5 mos]. ___________________

@Rage Lonethorn Oh, she's lovely. I wonder how useful her power is though. lol Like, what exactly can she do with her ability? So she can enter people's dreams. Was it put people to sleep too? What can she do with her power? What are its applications in and out of combat?
I added most of the limitations in case I got chewed out so she wasn't OP. I was gonna have her be able to force people to fall asleep, but I don't know what crosses the line and what doesn't. With imprisonment, she can trap a person in their nightmare, which can psychologically harm them when they awaken. Yeah I mostly held back everything since I don't know what crosses the line. Awk. Or how advanced she would need to be to cause hallucinations that turn out to just be a dream for the target.
@Rage Lonethorn I see I see. Okay, well she is accepted. :) You can go ahead and move her into the character section. We have one more person joining Horse House @Renny and then we will be FULL and we can start the IC today.
I edited some bits of Cheng's personality section. The difference is small, but I reworded a few lines and added others so he'd seem slightly less 'intrusively optimistic' and more neutral, even a little vain.
Also noticed our new Squid member! Might be a tad scary to contend with, but I like her.
Since some people made edits to their characters, I modified Mizuki's history and ability sections to add why he found his ability and how long the negation works respectively.
