The clone spotted nothing as it walked down the path. Seeing that it was safe, it continued until the range of the ninjutsu prevented it from going any further. When it dispersed Sorom received the short memory of the clone. There weren't any traps ahead, only the open pathway. However, there was a large Snorlax ahead, that was making a lot of noise on its own. If they played it safe they could go right around without a problem. 

"See anything?" Kanobu asked. "Ghastly seems to think there's a demon ahead although isn't sure which one it is yet."
