At first Pariah felt nothing upon waking up, her vision was blurred slightly but beyond that she felt nothing. It was when she attempted to move that every muscle in her body felt as though they had been torn to shreds. She was sore to the point she had little motor control but somehow managed to learn herself against a wall. "I'm going to kill him", was the phrase she played back over and over in her head. Without even a moment to get her bearings, two escaped prisoners came running down the hall. Both were armed with guns looted from the bodies of DMA agents. The two noticed Pariah slumped against the wall after originally thinking she was already dead. "Is she DMA?", one asked his partner. The other shrugged his shoulders before replying, "I guess so, she doesn't look like the others from the cells, and I never saw her there". "We should kill her, just in case", in less than a split second after saying that Pariah fired two bursts of smoke at the escaped prisoners. They choked on the smoke filling their lungs as the fell to their knees. Pariah got herself onto her feet, leaning on the wall for support, and once she was upright she fired two shots into each of the prisoners. The kick of the gun irritated all the muscles in her arm as it kicked from each shot. She winced before taking a moment to get herself together, a simple shock was not going to be the cause of her failure. "Gotta get to the garage...", she muttered as she began to jog towards the stairs. Her jog quickly turned into a full sprint as she regained her strength. This was going to end with either her dead or them.
"From here we go straight to Jack's, we can't afford to compromise the bar", Cole radioed to Ace as he arrived at the elevator. The ride down was anything but calm. Both DMA and metahumans tried to enter and both had no intention of sharing the space. In the end none managed to get in, well none managed to get in and stay there as Cole would simply drain them till they were too weak to fight back. By the time they arrived on the garage level whatever ailments Cole might have been feeling was gone as the sheer number of people he drained had restored him to almost perfect health.
