Well its nice to know that sort of thing happens in other countries too with nursing.

nursing is, sadly, a corrupted thing. If one person of the long employeed staff doesn't like you then you are gone.

and short staffing is an issue of funding. A lot of places here are short staffed because they don't hve the moneyfor enough nurses. 

They did it to me and about 50 other assistant nurses half way through our contracts, citing something we did as a reason for our being fired.
