Jason looked over at the poor woman, she wasn't handling this well at all. He walked over to her, she must have been their chaperone or something for this trip. Now all of the kids she had to watch out for were gone. It had to hurt. He shook his head at the cruelty of fate and approached her. "Hey, I'm sorry we couldn't find any survivors. But at least you survived to be able to remember all of these kids. They'll live on in your mind" He said softly, hoping to help her out. He knew the feeling of pain and needing to cope, he had watched his best friend take her own life when they were younger. Jason knew pain, he only hoped he could help this stranger through her own pain. With that in mind he sat by her, not directly next to her as he was still a stranger, but a distance at which she could reach him if she needed to, or wanted to reach out to have somebody else to help her through the pain. As he sat, the boy let his mind wonder. How the hell could something like this even happen? What was the logic behind all of it.
