[OOC] CoM: City of Mutants

Welcome to CoM; City of Mutants.

This is a Marvel based rp (think X-men, Spiderman and so on) BUT in an universe of its own, meaning its no connected to any of the known mainstream stories and follows its own path.
CoM is a mutant group of individuals that have no other place to live and have come to join together under one roof.
The reason its called City of Mutants is cause its a place for mutants to live together, even though its base is hardly big enough to be called a town even, though that may change during the story.

This is by nature a 1x1 rp between me and RocketRobie2 BUT it is open for others to come and join and leave as they please (the reason it has both, 1x1 and large group markers)

rules:
Please Read all rules, I put them into different hiders based on the situation, please read them when they become corresponding to your situation.
They are;
-Rules about Character creations, though this also covers other creation rules.
its nothing special, just some guidelines to help you on your way and know what I wish at least, very useful to read as it helps you a lot I think.
-Rules about IC activity, mostly the base understanding on one-liners, fade to black options and such, useful to read.
-Rules about inactivity, mostly its basic info but I, for this rp's setting with other people being allowed to join and leave have added multiple pointers which are good to know if you dont want to leave.
-base site rules.

-when you dont show up for a week or two, your char will be MIA one way or an other, I dont want to kill others off if I can prevent it in case of BUT in some cases I cannot work around it, I mean if were in a heavy fight and you go AWOL, then unless you can fall into something that allws you to become lost, then chances are, your char will leave by getting killed...
in a case where you been away for a long while and decide to rejoin, your free to make a new char but if you wish to continue with your old, please say so here first by asking what has happened to him/ her, depending on various matters, there are various options.
if you know your going away for a while, do say so and how long and if you wish to return one way or an other with the same char and so on.
if you end up being away for a month after the reported return date, I wont be expecting you back
regardless if you wish to return after being away with the same char you have been playing with, the char would likely have left the group for various reasons, such as family matters, going MIA and so on, your choice.
this is so we can continue without having a ghost char in the group (though this depends on how long you go away, if you are gone for just 2 days or so, then your char wont have to leave to return as well)


-it is accepted to post one liners if you dont have any inspiration to post bigger BUT PLEASE try to make a casual type of post if possible
-any normal live interactions such as romance and IC fights (meaning those of words though it can develop further) are allowed, this rp is just like a comic/ manga, there is action, there is normal live, there are people, the complete package.
-sexual matters are fade to black, though some small stuff like walking into a girl in the shower and saying nice breasts after looking at them, stuff like that is allowed, as long as its not graphic.
-for those that wish, if those involved are open for it, you can also instead of fade to black go into PM, just remember to continue the story here regardless of how long your little interaction can take.
-I am a huge fan of realistic combat damage, meaning if you fall from a great height, no cartoon or manga matter of falling and surviving with just a bump on the head (unless its allowed by your powers), but also, if an energy blast would destroy a males shirt, it will also do the same for the females shirt and bra - NO KEEPING CLOTHES when they should be destroyed under a realistic setting just cause you dont want to be nude/ topless.
Sorry if people would hate this but I have always been bugged about how males can lose their shirts by an energy blast while a female getting hit by the same or stronger would have their clothes completely unscratched, so yeah, I want that to be realistic as well, there are enough ways to get around such an problem while keeping it logical.
-fights between ourself in IC are done by saying what you wish to do and let the other respond if you fail or not, though some actions, like only lifting someone above yourself can be allowed without the others regard.


-ask here if you wish to join first, then if allowed follow the rules on the wikia Blank CS.
generally everyone would be allowed unless the rp gets too crowded but first ask regardless just in case and so that we know about you joining, otherwise we may be stumped on a sudden char sheet.
-If you wish to stay here for a while, then please make the sheet on the wikia, however if you rather, place it in the char tab and I will make the wikia sheet my self.
-due to the groups begin setting I have multiple char's, though Drake is my main char, but other players are allowed up to 3 max, exceptions can be made but have to be requested first.
when making more then one right away, please say that with your request to join so we know what to expect.
-each player has to have at least 1 CoM member char at all times unless discussed with me (Drake Baku) first.
-Omega classes are meant to be rare so please refrain from using one and if you use one, do take account for the risk/ downside it should come with, Omega's follow the rule, great power comes with great costs.
-everyone is free to suggest a villain char they can play with as well or other group chars, just tell me before hand if you wish to make one.
-everyone is allowed to make up their own plots and missions, even those fitting a char they made, like a villain char joining one of the villain groups, if you wish to do this then PM me about it.
I wont say I will accept all suggestions, as some may end up breaking my own plots, But i will do my best to try and make it all work, we will even see where it will fit in my own list.
