A great evil has been pushed upon the Scandinavian people, as we hear rumours of brutalities inflicted against our Finnish brothers. Even worse, government workers, acting as reporters to these tragedies, have been reported captured, or worse as we speculate, on Russian orders. With the recent political turmoil, both in war and internal, evident in the lands of Russia, we see their inability to actively reform themselves, and remedy their mistakes.

It is with sorrow that I must [b]declare a state of hostilities between the Kingdom of the Scandinavia and the Russian state now exist[/b], in pursuit of the unification of the Scandinavian Finns, freeing them from Russian autocracy.
