I think that you've prompted me to call myself an author more often [@Scout], not that I think there's anything wrong with it even though I hadn't published any books yet, I simply believe that there should be no distinction between published authors and unpublished authors as it is merely popularity that varies between them. 

  I, can't, care about popularity in real life or on the internet - so I'm going to liberally call anyone who roleplays an author of their work whenever I feel like it. I believe every work has an author and it's nothing wrong to call them as they are.
