Kikiyo sat nack on her throne "I could not put my sister through an arranged marriage......I want her to choose someone and I want her to fall in love....I don't mind tolerating you forever so that she can be happy with her life". Kikiyo drank from her wine glass, she drank the blood not really impressed by the taste and quality of the blood "we'll have to tolerate each other for the rest of our lives....I doubt you are comfortable with my speciess.....".

Kai sighed he thought about the princes father and about how protective he was over the prince sk he decided to stay staying true to his promise to the king. He watched the stairs quietly thinking about the girl.

"Can we just ignore species for a minute?" He asked, sort of snappy. Ichiro rubbed his temple and took a deep breath. "Maybe if we forget that we are different, we can learn to like one another. There has to be something we have in common." Ichiro realized how corny it was, but he meant it. He really wanted to be able to get along with her.

Aiko smiled to herself at her sister. Always trying to be better. She could of handled the marriage. Kikiyo didn't need to me a martyr.

Kikiyo watched him, she raised her eyebrow "oh I doubt we'd have anything in common......". She carried on drinking the blood, she let out a small sigh as she drank it "well...I guess its something I can ignore for now the species part...even though you reacted to my touch and when I inahled your scent". Kikiyo silently observed him, she let out a sigh "your friends interesting I don't mind being friends with him though.....very loyal". She went back to drinking the blood, she watched him "I doubt that I'm ever going to like you prince".

"You don't even know me!"Ichiro replied, throwing his hands up. The girl was relentless. "Shouldn't you get to know me before you make an assumptioj?" He wasn't used to nor being liked. Other than his occasional rude comment, Ichiro was an okay person. He was respected back at home, liked even. "And I'm sure Kai would be your friend. He would do anything for my father. As would I. Clearly."

Kikiyo glared at him "I hate the idea of marriage you really think I want to get to know you!?". Kikiyo had a cold expression on her face, she tapped her fingers against the arm rest "you should leave.....". She looked away letting out a sigh, she thought about the school she was going to, she needed to speak to her sister to see if she was alright with it all, silently she stood up.

Ichiro stood slowly, done with this entire conversation. If she wanted to ve like this, he could play her game. He would find a way to get her attention with out ever speaking to her.

"As you wish, your majesty," he said with a polite smile and walked out. He caught Kai hanging around the door and bit his lip not to snap at him. "We are leaving," Ichiro said quietly to his friend, walking quickly in the direction they had come.

Aiko raced down the stairs, nearly running into the two men. She came to a quick stop, frowning at them both.

"Safe travels," she muttered, "We will see you both soon." With that, she ran past them and into the throne room, shutting the door behind her.

Kikiyo wat hed her sister, she let out a sigh and closed her eyes. Kikiyo was in thought, she knew that she had to push the wedding back so that she can live in peace with her family. Silently she stood up walking to her sister "what's wrong? Aiko?". She raised her eyebrow at her sister.

Kai sighed as he walked with the prince "so how did it go my prince?". He wondered what happened in there, the prince was usually chatty but it seems thats not the case now, the princess must have angered him. He sighed as he opened the door for the passenger seat when they went outside waiting for the prince to get inside once he got inside Kai sat next to him closing the door telling the driver to drive back to the palace.

"Nothing is wrong," Aiko said, going to sit down. She didn't want to anger her sister. She didn't know what she wanted. "I'm just worried is all." Honestly, she was a little worried about making the Prince mad. She had seen his face when he left. Mad didn't begin to cover what Ichiro had been. Aiko wasn't scared of the wolves, but the species were walking on a fine line between war and peace.

"How did it go?"

Ichiro crossed his arms.

"Stop acting like a servant, Kai. I don't need you to open doors or tell the driver where to go. I can do all that myself." He snapped. "I couldn't get through to her. But I will get her attention." He stared out the window. "I'm not sure how. But I will."

Kikiyo sighed "he thinks i wanted to get to know him....he is aware that i hate the idea of this marrriage...he should have expected that i'd reject wanting to know him...". Kikiyo silently watched the maids "please send another glasss of blood to my room....". Silently she watched her sister "you should distance yourself from the wolves...they are dangerous and i still do not trust them...i know you are facinated by one sister".

Kai sighed as he folded his arms, he watched the prince "well i get why she rejected you....your snappy side is annoying...hm....you have a chance with her...she will be at our school and away from her home so..". The guard smiled to himself chuckling. He hoped that things would work out for the prince.

"I am fascinated by the entire species," she said, taking the hint that her sister wanted to be alone. She was ready to go to her room, meaning Aiko's time was up. She stood out of her seat and walked towards the door.

"For the sake of peace, at least think about getting to know him. You're shooting him down too fast, baby sister." With that, Aiko asked the maid to prepare her a bath and left the room.

"For a friend, you are more often against me than for me," Ichiro muttered, rubbing his head. "You realize I can make you do whatever I want. You've seen it done. I can do it now. But you're my friend. Have been since birth. I would prefer you willingly support me."

The car came to a stop, and Kai let himself out. He walked himself to the door and into the palace. One of the maids stood by the door, grinning at him as he walked him. Most of the maids around the house fancied him.

"Little angel, would you please send word to the kitchen to have dinner ready? I'm starving," he said, touching her chin. The girl nearly fainted. Ichiro let her go and she nearly fell over herself running to the kitchen.

Ichiro knew how he would win the princess's attention. He would make her jealous.

Kikiyo let out a sigh and walked towards her room "the werewolves are enemies no matter what.....I will never see that man as a lover or a husband....". Silently she walked to her room and let out a sigh, she watched a picture of her mother framed on her drawer. Kikiyo got undressed and got into her night gown, she wanted to rest after today.

Kai sighed "I am entitled with my own opinion prince.....im only stating the facts....usually I'm right about them". Silently he let out a sigh watching the prince worried about him.

Aiko took a bath, dismissing her maids early. She wanted to be alone. The idea of going to an actual school made her stomach ache. She didn't like other people most the time. She was too quiet and too gentle. People tended to run over her. Aiko thought about the school more as she slipped into her night clothes, sitting in the giant bed.

She would be away from her sister most the day. Surely they wouldn't have the same classes. Aiko honestly didn't know what she would do outside of her protected family circle. She was sure there would be guards around, but she dreaded finding someone to talk to.

Aiko fell asleep slowly, lost in thought.

Ichiro spent the rest of the night ignoring Kai. It was childish to be mad at him, and even more to ignore him. But he just didn't feel like dealing with the man. He ate dinner and sent himself to bed early, tucking a book under his arm. His maids got his clothes all laid out for the next day and then left him alone.

Ichiro plotted his plan, feeling more excited by the minute. He fell asleep quickly, smiling.

Kikiyo yawned as she got up, she watched the maids as they undressed her and helped her with her uniform. Silently she put her hair in pigtails using red ribbons, she decided to style her hair differently today she always left her hair down. She grabbed her bag getting her things ready and slipped into her shoes.

The girl ran downstairs, she grabbed the glass of blood that a maid held for her she drank it letting out a sigh. She knew today was going to be a long day, she had a bad feeling about it, she walked towards the car watching it she felt weird going outside.

Kai sighed as he waited for the prince, he stood by the car holding his school bag. Silently he wondered what the prince had planned for the vampire princess.

Aiko woke up to the sound of maids bustling around her room. As she stretched herself out, they all smiled at her and stood at attention. She got out of bed and let them show her how to wear her new uniform. It looked silly on her, skirt shorter than she liked and silly button up shirt. She let the maids tuck her shirt in and then dismissed them.

Aiko wanted to be more independent. She didn't like depending on maids to do her work for her. She fixed her hair down, curling it into big loose curls. She was proud of her blonde hair. It was different. Feeling confident, she left the room, taking a glass of blood from the maid outside her door.

Ichiro got up and let the servants dress him in his new uniform. It had been sitting on the dresser for weeks now, waiting to be worn. He didn't like uniforms. Being like everyone else really wasn't his style. But he combed and strained out his hair and went on his way anyway, grabbing food from the kitchen on his way through.

The door keeper held out his backpack for him, and he took it. Outside, Kai waited on his. Ichiro was getting real tired of this routine. He let himself into the car, giving Kai a very chipper "Good morning."

Kagome sat in the car quietly, she looked at her school bag annoyed that she had to go to a public school she wondered how her family were feeling about this. She waited for her sister yawning a little, she was wondering what the prince would be up to especially after yesterday when she rejected his existence. Silently she closed her eyes leaning her head by the window not minding the sun.

Kai sighed as he watched the prince, he got into the car with him not saying a word. Kai wondered what the prince was up to, he had a bad feeling about this. Kai watched the driver "drive please".

Aiko got in the car, giving her sister a smile. She was slumped into the window. Aiko patted her shoulder.

"Everything will be okay, sis," she said, telling the driver to go. Even she didn't want to go to this school, but she felt like being in the light. She felt like being happy.

Ichiro played with his hands in his lap. He wondered how many people would recognize him. He hoped they all would. Ichiro liked being in the spotlight. Plus, it would help his plan.

"I am ready, Kai," he said, giving him a smile.

Kikiyo watched her sister, she gave her a nod and closed her eyes as the driver drove towards their new school. She looked outside finding it weird to be outside and she smelt delicious.......scents.

Kikiyo sat up as they were there, she watched the driver as he opened the door for them and she jumped out grabbing her bag, she looked at her sister and walked into the giant gates of the school. She noticed males watching her, she still had that cold expression but her golden eyes stood out, she silently walked into the school it was surrounded by beautiful sakura trees and it had a giant fountain she was impressed.

Kai sighed asking the driver to go, he watched the prince and shook his head a little. He ignored the prince still annoyed at him and got out of the car straight away before the prince could speak to him when they got to the school.

Niko followed her sister out of the car, a good distance behind her. She didn't want people here to know her as Kikiyo's sister. She wanted to have a name. From the gate, she watched her sister walk up to the doorway, all eyes on her. Niko decided to wait until her sister was far enough ahead and then follow. So, she did exactly that. Pleasing enough, she got a few glances, but it wasn't the same looks her sister had gotten.

She stopped in the middle of the pathway to look around. Everything was overwhelming. There were different species all here, different types of heartbeats and blood. So many different smells and sights. Aiko took a deep breath and breathed it all in.

Ichiro followed Kai out of the car, swinging his bag over his shoulder. He was thoroughly impressed with the landscaping of the school. It was utterly beautiful. Ichiro kept his head high and followed behind his friend, smiling at the people he passed by. He caught every eye along the way, giving them his famous half smirk.

Ahead, the older princess stood by the fountain, alone, seemingly enjoying the sights and sounds. He slid up beside her, nudging her in the arm.

"Morning, Aiko," he said with a smile. She returned it pleasantly, nodding to him. "It's going to be a great day." She seemed more than a little shocked at his comment, but Ichiro ignored her look of suspicion and walked on into the school.

Kikiyo let out a sigh as she stayed near her sister, she smiled a little at her sister as they looked around. She heard a familiar voice and scowled, she glared at the prince as he greeted her sister, she looked away avoiding the prince she did not want anyone to think that she was associated with this man.

Kai smiled at Aiko and gave her a wave, he noticed a scowling Kikiyo and gave her a warm smile. He sighed as he watched the sisters "do you two like the school? It must be weird for you guys".

Aiko smiled back at Kai, sighing.

"Yes, it's different, but I really like it. I like new things," she said, moving around on her feet. The uniform felt weird, scratchy. She brushed it off, blaming it on her nerves. Glancing at her sister, she hoped the girl wouldn't follow her around all day. Kikiyo said she wanted Aiko to make friends, but Aiko never would if Kikiyo gave them all the stink eye.

Ichiro looked around the entry way of the school, staring at everything. People stopped and turned to look at him, whispering among themselves. He gave them a smirk and pulled his schedule out of his pocket. The least he could do was be a good student while he was executing his plan. How hard would it be to find his way around the school?

Ichiro walked up the stairs onto the landing where a long hallway stretched out before him. People hurried around, trying to get places, barely paying him any mind up here. He sighed and walked forward, searching for room numbers.
