Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum and i hope to have loads of fun with you all. I started roleplaying in forums when I was just a kid, but I stopped when I become a teenager. Recently, I've started back up again while playing SWTOR and now I want to get back into the forum RP scene! Been looking everywhere and can't really seem to find RP's that I'm interested in, so hopefully I'll be able to find some fun here!

My interests include MMA, cars, star wars, video games, anime, and tabletop RPG's.

Things I like: Initial D, Star Wars, Fallout, Mass Effect, Mad Max, "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly", All Rounder Meguru, Shamo, Fist of the North Star, Akira, Yu Yu Hakusho, Slam Dunk, and Conan the Barbarian.

My roleplay interests would be Post-Apocalyptic/Fallout, Star Wars, Initial D/street racing, fantasy type dungeon crawling, sci-fi, martial arts fighting/tournament, and Harry Potter.

Would the RP in our signature fit your bill, being star wars themed? 'tis set 11 years before SWTOR, just after Coruscant got sacked by the Sith.

@Ellri well I'm just getting back to it, so I guess I can't really know. In the game I would always make long posts though, so I think I'd be capable of writing up quite a bit for each post if I tried.

Fair enough, @CoolGuy. Did you take a look at Coruscant Sacked: Aftermath? If you feel up for a small challenge, we think that could potentially fit your bill.

@EllriWell I actually looked over the OOC section and only just now looked at the IC posts. Wow. That's a lot of text for each post. It's super daunting, but i think I'll give it a shot once I've been here a few more days. It feels as if people expect a whole lot from you on here, so I don't want to disappoint or waste someones time with pathetic posts. I'll tell you right now, my biggest weakness is character background. Even for Star Wars characters, which SHOULD be a breeze since I know quite a bit about it. Just always have trouble with backstory. I have been reading around and I've never seen such impressive and original RP characters before coming to this forum.

yes, it can look daunting, but most of those massive posts are written by multiple people after they really get entrenched into their characters.

Honesty can be refreshing. In aftermath, we tend to be a bit stricter than most on character sheets, so we can be more lax after approval. All the GMs in there are fond of flawed characters.

We operate most of all on a "quality over quantity" rule. We'd rather have two high-quality paragraphs where things happen than ten paragraphs with not much happening at all.

There's no rush with aftermath. It'll be there tomorrow, it'll be there weeks from now.

@EllriThen I think I'll try and get some experience under my belt in one of the other RP's around here. I'm extremely shy though, so I'm having trouble getting involved in a roleplay. Haha

heh, @CoolGuy. Shyness might actually be rather common with PBP RPers.

Did you have interest in Stargate? We know of a half-decent RP set in that universe too.
