Using intelligent tactics, the Sergal manage to press on through the throng of defensive turrets. Whilst a turret does once manage to surprise them by firing from directly above them into the centre of their group, there are no fatalities. However, they were faced with a secondary problem, of a far more mundane nature. Namely that they didn't have a clue where they were going. Force fields and Voidsteel made scanning nigh impossible without heavy-duty equipment, and while Matt's ship was constructed with complete order in mind, there was no way of knowing which route led to the security controls.

The current location of the Sergals was Sector 226-18, and it was mainly devoted to the generation of the force field outside the ship. It was mostly untouched by the Tyranids, who had been more focused on other targets. The still functional defensive systems had mainly kept them out of this area. However, this brought the Sergal no closer to their goal. And running around randomly they were more likely to become lost than they were to find their goal.

Alice stepped forward, sighing. "Why must you bicker so, when the path is clear. If this Bob is truly the one responsible for this place, then he must be stopped. If he cannot be killed through straightforward combat, then other means should be consider." She seems annoyed, not used to such debates. Back on her homeworld, her word had been law. After all, she was practically their messiah. "I doubt that simply holding a relative will be enough to achieve much. But if this person is likely to come to his aid, then we must eliminate or disable her before we engage. If Bob is truly as powerful as I have heard, we will need every advantage we can get."

She mostly ignored Mithias' presence, however she was counting on the vampire to assist her once more. She had seen his prowess in battle, and counted him among her allies in this strange place. Her pride prevented her from asking him for assistance, but she had seen enough of him to know that he would risk his life to save innocent people. Even if it was just to eat them later.

Seeing this robotic drone, Nathan knew better than to attempt to interact, it being not something even he wished to fight, so he went on ahead, leaving the hand of god, and the sergals to keep them at bay, as he entered into the bridge of the ship, aiming to hopefully either find Matt, or find a way of scanning for Matt, from the main systems, and to hopefully engage more security systems to help further push back the attack.

"Bob, as far as I know, was willing to step out of where he is strongest to help his daughter. If we can get him out of there, we can kill him. If we can force him here, we ca-....Sniff....sniff....I smell.........." Ozzy starts, before looking at Mithias, a devilish grin forming, as in a blur, Ozzy moves behind him, hand pressed on Mithias's back.
"Hmhmhmhmhmhmhmhm.....So, Mithias, mind telling me why you have shards of Bob in you?" Ozzy asks, grinning widely.

considering the sergals weren't complete tactical idiots, they had actually scanned before hand using pulse sensors which were quite useful for getting around jamming technology albeit at the cost of loss of pinpoint percision, giving the sergals a general area where the security room would be, narrowing it down to a particular section of the ship albeit the options were only narrowed down to about four rooms, making the take a good while to search each one before finding the room they were looking for and beginning to deactivate the security systems along specific paths that were needed while also getting a more in-depth map of the ship (as well as deactivating the extermination protocol)

Robed men........
A sadistic leader, who looks as though she modeled her looks after flames....
Burning homes, apparently with the intent to burn those inside.....
A survivor striking out against them, resisting....Only to be systematically beaten by the men....
What scene is similar to this? What would make the most sense here?

Within the room he finds Matt, slumped over the controls of his ship. He's bleeding seriously from a large cut to his side, and must have been knocked out by the blood loss. His unconsciousness had knocked down Babylon's main systems, which were directly mentally linked to him, but he'd been able to activate the extermination protocoll before falling unconscious. Near him was the top half of a gaunt, which had apparently crawled it's way towards him and cut him before finally dying. Most likely it had been cut in half by the closing security doors around the main control room. If Matt isn't treated soon, he'll most likely die from blood loss.

Doing something rash, Nathan pulls out his katana, and using its fire infused properties, heats it up to an high temperature, before using it to cauterize the bleeding wound, it causing massive amounts of pain most likely, but stopping a majority of the bleeding.....

The Sergals followed their scans to what appeared to be the greatest power source within the ship, from where they would be able to simply follow the wires to the control station. However, as they approached it signs of Tyranid activity seemed to become more apparent. As well as the beginning of the trail of death that the other group had witnessed, lines of dead Tyranid extending into the distance. However, their directions were clear. Regardless of the increased danger, they proceeded into the room that had been their target.

Instead of finding a power source, however, the Sergal discovered something far more malevolent. A glowing purple rift in the centre of the room, a complete blank space for their scanning equipment. It seemed to devour any magic that came near it, forming a slight wind as it ate the oxygen in the room. It was clearly powerful, but not in any way that was readily available to harvest. And yet, it seemed to be devouring the ship from the inside. Even the energy absorbing Voidsteel from which Babylon's hull had been constructed.

the squad of sergals falls back to The fallen emperor and nathan, getting close before taking out something akin to a grenade, dropping it at their feet as they take out a small stick of metal with a button on top, making sure that everyone was touching the person holding said stick before the button was pressed and the group was taken to a sergal ship near instantly, the grenade levitating and pulling in the void steel as though it had an immense gravity well, leaving the room hyper compacted along with everything in it before exploding, killing the tyranids in the hallway. The other group studies the hole in reality breifly before going through the same process to leave, all of the groups gone.

With their food source and reason for staying now gone, the tyranid force there simply left, a great, leviathin-like creature bursting from the ship to ferry the remaining forces elsewhere, slipping through a portal to places unknown where food and allies awaited, the hulking remnants of babylon and all present forces being left to be swallowed by the plot hole in the middle of nowhere.

Nathan, after grabbing Matt, and slinging him on his shoulder, begins to walk towards an exit.
"That was unneeded. I was planning on having the ship explode via using my powers to strike its energy core..now they escaped. Great job, morons. Now, if you don't mind, I'm taking Matt so I can question him about what happened. Attempt to stop me, and it'll end badly." Nathan says, his eyes darting towards the Sergals around him. It was obvious that doing something, such as teleporting Matt away from him, may end badly.

Unsurprisingly, his pretty much instantly tazed via a nice number of turrets that come out of the ceilings, walls, and floor and the sergals present when insulting them in the middle of their territory before he's hauled off to a detainment center (which has a surprisingly comfortable bed) while matt's taken to a medical bay, allowing him to wake up to a blood transfusion and a surgeon recharging his cybernetics painlessly with him strapped to the table.

@thewizardguy

"welcome back to the land of the waking" the surgeon says evenly, towering over matt as he works on the cybernetics using rather advanced equipment as he recharges the cybernetics and gives them a fine tuning, making sure they're up to snuff and not chaffing or anything.

As these turrets taze Nathan, he seems unaffected. Turning to the nearest Sergal, he appears before her, less that an inch away.
".....Now, give me a reason not to kill all of you for that?" Nathan asks, looking around at the Sergals, rather angry. The veins in his face are bulging, and his eyes start to glow, his anger becoming visible.

"we can't let you leave with him. we need his debriefing on the situation because FUCK FIGHTING THOSE THINGS WITHOUT INFORMATION ON THEM. Besides, we have medical facilities here and he needs attention" she replies evenly, very obviously against letting him leave with matt without debriefing them.

"How do I know you won't kill him afterwards? You warmongering beasts obviously would resort to such tactics, if it gave you an edge." Nathan growls back, obviously unhappy. "I don't trust you anymore than I would trust the likes of Franken Stein, and Mia Stein....."

"while i respect your opinions, this is not a matter for debate" she replies evenly as she takes out a small button and presses it, an entire fleet showing up within seconds. "now come with us" she adds evenly with her hand out, a dry look on her face as she seems more annoyed than anything at his obstinance

Matt suddenly wakes up, instantly sizing up the situation. He was being held by Nathan, and surrounded by Sergal. Clearly he had been rescued from his earlier predicament by these people, but neither of them was truly his ally. Each of them could turn on him in a second, all of them were a risk. And now that the primary threat to his life had been dealt with, he had no more need for their presence. He would need to dispose of them as soon as possible, or at the very least escape their custody. If he could reach Ygdrassil, he might be able to finally repair it and regain his empire. Babylon had been but a bug compared to his ancient flagship.

Sitting up, he drops from Nathan's grasp. His cybernetic augmentations allowed him to ignore pain, although he was accutely aware of the damage his body had taken. "I believe I should still have a say in how this goes. First, I would like to thank those responsible for saving my life, despite previous conflicts that have taken place between our empires." Matt gives a brief nod of acknowledgement to the Sergals and Nathan. "However, I also believe, based on Nathan's expression, that if I do not intervene this entire area of space is about to become destroyed. As I am occupying said space, I would like to avoid said situation. Sergal, I recommend you stand down for now. I will share with you any information I have, if I may afterwards leave in peace."

"currently, your options of leaving are being jettisoned out of the ship's hold or being teleported randomly. come with us and we'll have you debrief us on these creatures, fail to do so and you'll rather suddenly learn what it feels like to hug a star. are we clear?" she asks evenly, the sergals and matt being teleported away to the capital ship that had arrived, matt being scanned and his internal weaponry being disabled before being led to a small room with a shower and some nice food, letting him relax despite basically being a prisoner as the medical team arrives with fresh clothing, his scans of the cloth revealing it was actually functional as armor as well as some rather comfortable clothing, though he could tell that he was incapable of leaving the room without adequate teleportation technology which he was deprived of currently.

Matt smiles as the Sergal make their threat, not at all deterred. "Very well, it seems like diplomacy has failed. Allow me to then alter my offer slightly. You will allow me to leave this ship, or I annihilate every single member of the Sergal species in existence." He steps forward, completely ignoring the Sergal weaponry that would be raised to meet his advance. "A specialized Deadman of my own design has been installed into my brain. Now that I have initialized it, only my conscious thought prevents it from activating. Should I be knocked out, killed, or placed into Stasis, your empire and species will suffer a swift end. I would inform you as to it's mechanisations, but I'm afraid you wouldn't know what I was talking about." He looks over to Nathan. "Nathan, you talked to your dad, right? Tell the furries what would happen if I allowed the Plot Hole to completely let loose. Because last I clocked it, it took the Plot Hole less than a minute to destroy an entire universe, and less than 5 seconds to destroy a galaxy."
