The door behind Markus clicked open and he turned to open it without hesitation. The dark corridor led him to another strong stained glass platform. This time, the figure depicted was unfamiliar. It was a woman with dark complection and hair, her clothes both exotic and elegant. Wherever she was from, Markus could tell, she was well provided for. She was dressed in blue, her hair held back in a braid and crowned with a sapphire. He walked forward and looked down on her face. Her dark eyes had a fierceness that seemed at odds with the dainty elegance of her clothes. She was not one to be controlled or held back. Markus was surprised at himself to find it such an attractive feature. He lingered for a moment, but moved on to the edge of the platform. He was kneeling down to look over the edge into the void when a platform appeared before him. Markus stepped from platform to platform, looking back briefly to get another look at the young woman in the glass. He saw that the steps before had vanished, and pressed on. At the top he came to yet another stained glass platform. This one was only partially illuminated, but some of the others had already arrived. When Markus stepped onto it, it lit up more, and the figures depicted were easier to make out. "Ah," Markus looked upon them with a friendly smile, "Hello again." He saw that they had placed similar weapons to his sword onto a pedestal in the center. He stepped toward it and followed suit. "As long as introductions are being given, I am Markus."
