The words that best describe Haruto Okada, according to the people around him, is that he’s just a punk; he is without a doubt a very intelligent punk – he’s a scholarship student in an otherwise difficult school to succeed in, but with that permanent scowl and tired light in his eyes, it’s difficult to see him as anything else but a lethargic villain of society.

However, he is simply a misunderstood individual – there’s no denying that he’s prone to violence; perhaps his weak appearance gives others reasons to try and mess with him, and it’s often ended with fairly gory consequences. After all, for somebody who is known to get in trouble on the streets often, Haruto developed into quite a brutal brawler. In fact, it's surprising how he has managed to stay enrolled despite his bloody past. His most famous exploit was the victory over a boxing club captain back when Haruto was still in middle school, who probably deserved the beating he received. Really.

However, you will never meet an individual who works harder or who counts his blessings every day like Haruto; his lethargic appearance is the result of his attempts to try and maintain his grades amongst other things. Despite the label of “delinquent”, he has never skipped class, nor does he take excused absences – in fact, one of his goals is to have perfect attendance, a goal he is doing well on, so far. 

Amongst other things, he is definitely a very serious individual who believes in both effort and luck – and the latter is definitely influenced by the former. After all, the lucky should deserve it. As side things, he likes cats and dogs almost indiscriminately - it seems he prefers their company over that of other people. Another thing to note is his insane dependence on his jacket; he becomes incredibly timid without it, and thus fears the time of the week where he has to run it through the laundry.
