At least I know the sequels will be better.

To be fair though, I guess most Marvel pilot movies (is that what you call it when you're introducing/creating a new hero?) are like that. And the sequels always seem better because you already know not to expect too much from the character. 

Although, it's not like there [i]isn't[/i] a lot of great character development going on in the original comics, even though at the end of the day they're just comics. 

Eh, whatever. It's hard to stop analyzing the crap out of everything after you've spent 16 months analyzing the crap out of everything.
