He had about as much depth as my first roleplaying character.

His story never went beyond daddy issues and wanting to be king. I'm not saying he's a bad character, just that he really hasn't developed. He was a massive lying prick at the beginning of Thor and he stayed a massive lying prick right up to the ending of Thor 2.
