Essentially planning for my faction to be founded from a religious based institution that was previously known for their free hospitals, schools, and welfare work throughout the country before Crimson Grey shut them down for essentially undermining his competence as a ruler and seeing the growing population of religious followers as a threat to instability. They were on the down low for quite some time and even had radical members who began forming terrorist cells, though this didn't last long before the economy collapsed and they were thrust into the current situation. A believer in this religion from Crimson Grey's own army abandoned his post with a single squad, rallied together the insurgents, and is calling civilians to the cause in order to bring peace, prosperity, and equality to the region.

However, part of their belief is that after their people have united as one they must complete an exodus to the holy land via a specific route, which includes most of Cartania and some of Laurentia. As such, they have a deep rooted hatred for Cartanians and Laurentians and believe that once they gain enough power, the only way to achieve the exodus is to commit genocide and ethnically cleanse the area. They convince people that this is the only option because the Cartanians hate them (which is true) and the Laurentians are sending refugees to concentration camps (which is just propaganda).

They have no interest in the area's resources or political climate and their main source of power is their religious fervor and generous behavior. Aside from the ruthless treatment toward the Cartanians and Laurentians, outside observers might find them to be very liberal and civilized. However, there are forces within this group that seek to use the upcoming faction as a means of putting themselves in power and taking advantage, while it is rumored their leader seeks to ethnically cleanse the area for reasons outside of the religion.

They'd be based out of Southmarch, with their eyes on the northen region in an effort to gather numbers and support before they charge the west and begin their genocidal intentions.
