You're given opportunities, which for some means you have plenty of fields within your interest to go for, and for most means "This is the job best for you and that's all we got". Essentially when you graduate you'd be called by anyone who picked up your DG profile and figured you might be a good candidate for whatever job they need you to do. And of course people hunt down for the best of the graduates first, so they're the ones getting the good jobs and the most of them. Everyone else just kinda get whatever is trickled down. You can always apply, but that essentially amounts to "Please look at my profile again" as far as big business care. 

So no, you're not automatically put into a job after you graduate, but you are given some damn good opportunities if you did good. I'm not even talking about entry-level stuff here. Most of the kinds will be offered manager positions in various big and small businesses without ever starting from the bottom.
