also, we are hundreds of miles from the US mexico border. at a brisk walking pace (2-3 Mph) it would take at minimum two weeks to get to Savannah from the border, probably more like three. by then the military would have done everything in their power and given up. giving evacuation orders and retreating to defensable positions.
