I'm just saying my character is paranoid. Also about food and water... he has thought about that as well. He does have some MREs stocked up because he is crazy... probably crazy. Did I say barricade them in? That would take loads of prep to do so they don't die. It is hard to figure out how to effectively do that considering there will be crazy people out there. Example. Religious groups that form together under fear of god or what have you. They will band together and kill anyone and everyone. The crazy ones that is. Also there are cannibals to think of. people who just couldn't find food and in stead of starving started munching on one another.
