An only child, Hayley has often sought out and befriended as many likeminded folks her age as she can manage, and - as a result - has developed into an extremely empathetic, caring individual. She is exceedingly book smart, a straight A student, but has very little real-world experience, having led a sheltered suburban life before the fall of civilization - fortunately, Hayley has a good head on her shoulders. Backstory: After the initial outbreak, Hayley and her father were separated from her mother. They did their best to stick together, heading from failed evac zone to failed evac zone in an attempt to locate their wayward matriarch - but to no avail. Nearly two months of perpetual movement, scavenging day-to-day to survive, Hayley's father was stabbed by an angry vagrant intent on robbing them. She fled the scene, and eventually sought refuge in the settlement of Haven, an orphan.

Name: John Bishop Age: Twenty-nine Gender: Male Occupation: Student; retired Staff Sergeant, 19D, United States Army Pros * Athletic * Well-trained (Combat MOS) * Resourceful Cons * Egotistical * Brusque * Functioning alcoholic Firearm proficiency: * 5, mid-range rifles * 3, long-range rifles * 3, pistols/sub-machine guns * 2, shotguns Weapons: * M9 Bayonet, holstered Equipment: * Backpack * Drinking water * Canned food Apparel: * A grey PT shirt, "ARMY" written across the chest * Blue-jeans * Steel-toed work boots Personality: Bishop is an intelligent man, articulate and charismatic, with a mind for strategy - hence the rapid-fire promotion from enlisted to NCO, and on to leading his own squad of men in Kandahar, Afghanistan, as a Staff Sergeant. He has an ego - given his training, he, unsurprisingly, finds his own judgment to be far more sound than a civilian's. Furthermore, he can be very brief with those that he doesn't know, instead laying out a plan and expecting others to stick to it. After returning state-side, Bishop developed an unhealthy relationship with alcohol, but managed to maintain his schoolwork and social life without any problems; as of the outbreak, he has sobered up - but every day is a fight against the bottle, particularly days when they find booze. Backstory: After three tours, Bishop decided not to re-up his contract and instead was honorably discharged from service. He returned to the United States and began to pursue a degree in education, hoping to teach college level history. His plans were neatly kiboshed by the end of society, however. Local Nasties failed to maintain order - unsurprisingly - and Bishop found himself flying solo; it wasn't that dissimilar to Afghanistan, but he'd had enough combat in the war. A few months on, Bishop stumbled upon the ragtag city of Haven, and decided to settle in - he had assessed the situation, and decided that this doomsday scenario made a lone wolf strategy unrealistic. If he was going to survive, he'd need the help of others - and Haven seemed like the perfect place to start rebuilding.
Yo. I know the sheets are a bit bare, but I've never been particularly good at pre-plot sheets. If there's anything you'd like me to expand upon, just let me know.
