All battles would work like Anime, as long as you don't dodge every move with a slow pokemon and deal massive damage with a weak pokemon. We would keep a running HP count using [url=http://www.marriland.com/tools/stat-calculator#891|5|1|0|0|0|0|0|0|31|31|31|31|31|31|]THIS SITE[/url] to calculate base HP then estimate damage done based on the move, pokemon's type, defending pokemon's type, and a fair bit of friendly argument.
