Hi everyone!

So my apartment got hit by lightning a couple of hours ago, and I'm unscrambling some equipment right now. Don't worry, I didn't lose any precious, precious story, but my mind's a little sidetracked at the moment. It's possible the IC thread will go up [b]tonight[/b] but I would strongly expect it [b]tomorrow sometime[/b]. A little more grace period! Everyone wins. Except for my poor, smoke-blackened cable modem. And I even had a surge protector! Still, those tend not to do [i]terribly[/i] well with lightning.

Oh well. My luck had to run out sometime, and all it takes is a quick call to a few contacts for some big-girl lightning-arresting gear.

I am back online, so I'll be checking the thread more, too. Looks like folks want to jump straight into a case! I'm excited by that. :3
